It was nice having coffee at the UC today with Jayne Butler.

We discussed the collaborative tools which has lead me to provide her with insight into the shared space site that Virgina Gray and Kyle Mackie set up for a working group of 8 from 2 different institutions.

blogging for learning journals

I spoke to Melanie Freeman in Chatham today regarding blogs in her Death and Dying course. We will discuss further.
This semester she has just under 100 learners and would like to explore the online submit button for the learning journal before the blog.

using blogging in DE courses

peer evaluation of conferences

Marlene Brooks (DLS U of G) has recommended a nice enhancement (peer evaluation scores compiled through the D2L quizz tool) for my template for grading group conference boards. I will upload both the template for grading group conference boards and her enhancement soon.
